If you're comparing solar panel installers in East Sussex, two things matter more than the glossy brochure: whether the installer understands the local grid, and whether their certifications hold up. East Sussex sits on the UK Power Networks (UKPN) grid. A small system up to 3.68kW per phase only needs a G98 notification after the work is done. Anything bigger — and almost any battery or export setup — needs G99 approval from UKPN before installation starts.
