Site Surveys & Installation Planning
Tom is a key member of our operations team, bringing extensive experience across solar PV, roofing and the wider construction industry. As one of our Installation Managers, Tom visits customers' homes to carry out detailed site surveys, taking measurements and photographs and assessing the property to identify the best solution for each installation. He also completes virtual surveys for suitable battery installations. Following each survey, Tom prepares the equipment orders and shares the technical information needed by the wider team to plan, schedule and complete every installation as smoothly as possible. He works closely with our installers, electricians and suppliers, helping to resolve technical queries and overcome any challenges that may arise. Tom's support continues after installation. He helps customers understand how to use their monitoring apps, answers questions about their new system and works alongside the team to resolve any post-installation snags promptly. With his practical knowledge, problem-solving skills and commitment to excellent customer service, Tom is an integral part of the South Coast Solar Solutions team.
