Tesla
All-in-one storage with integrated inverter
As a Tesla Certified Installer, we design and fit the Tesla Powerwall 3 — a 13.5kWh all-in-one battery with an integrated solar inverter, automatic backup and the industry-leading Tesla app. Our certification means priority support and warranty handling.
We're a Tesla Certified Installer, which means the Powerwall 3 is one of the batteries we fit most often across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, West Sussex, East Sussex and Surrey. In plain English, it's an all-in-one home battery: 13.5kWh of usable storage with a solar inverter built into the same unit. That matters because a lot of battery setups bolt a separate battery onto a separate inverter, which means more boxes on the wall, more connection points and more that can go wrong. The Powerwall 3 keeps it tidy and does the whole job — storing your daytime solar, running your home in the evening, and even acting as a hybrid inverter for the panels themselves.
Because we're certified, our installs go through Tesla's own accreditation, and you get priority support and warranty handling if anything ever needs looking at — we deal with Tesla directly rather than leaving you to chase it. One genuinely useful feature is automatic whole-home backup: if the grid goes down, the Powerwall 3 switches over fast enough that in most cases you'll barely notice, keeping your essentials running. The Tesla app is the other standout — it's the clearest monitoring app on the market, showing you in real time what your panels are making, what the house is using and what's flowing in and out of the battery.
On the practical side, anything with battery storage needs a G99 application to your DNO (that's SSEN for most of Hampshire, IoW, Dorset and west Surrey, or UK Power Networks across Sussex and most of Surrey) — approved before we install, not after. We handle that paperwork for you as part of the job, so there's nothing for you to file. We'll also make sure your system is set up to earn under the Smart Export Guarantee, so the surplus you don't store gets sold back rather than given away.
We fit the Powerwall 3 two ways. Alongside new panels it's the heart of our Premium package, sized to your roof and your usage. Or, if you already have solar, we retrofit it as a Battery-Only install — a popular upgrade for homes on the South Coast who put panels in years ago and now want to stop exporting cheap and buying back expensive. Every quote is honest and survey-based: we'll tell you straight whether the Powerwall is the right fit or whether a different battery suits your home and budget better. No pushy sales, just the sensible answer.

Best for
Homeowners who want the tidiest, best-supported battery on the market — one unit that stores solar, runs the home in the evening and keeps the lights on during a power cut. Ideal if you value the clearest monitoring app and priority Tesla warranty handling, whether you're pairing it with new panels or retrofitting to an existing solar system. Larger households, or anyone who may add an EV or want more resilience later, benefit from the option to expand to 27kWh.
The Powerwall 3's big advantage is that it's an all-in-one unit with the solar inverter built in, plus automatic backup and the best app we've used — simpler on the wall and simpler to live with than battery-plus-separate-inverter setups. Modular systems like the Sigenergy SigenStor can be more flexible if you want to start small and grow in fine increments, and a Fox ESS battery (in our Budget package) will usually come in cheaper if outright price is the priority. Fox and EcoFlow/Sigenergy batteries are all genuinely good kit and we fit them happily. Verdict: choose the Powerwall 3 when you want the most polished, best-backed all-in-one and don't mind paying a bit more for it; choose Fox for value, or Sigenergy for maximum modular flexibility.
With new solar panels it's our Premium package, from £12,920 (12 panels) up to £13,560 (16 panels), with a £375 Tesla rebate currently available. As a retrofit to existing solar, it's Battery-Only from £7,450. All prices are "from" and confirmed after a free survey.
Yes — that's one of the most popular jobs we do. We retrofit the Powerwall 3 to an existing solar system as a Battery-Only install from £7,450, so you can start storing your daytime generation instead of exporting it cheaply and buying it back at full price.
It gives you 13.5kWh of usable storage, which suits most homes on the South Coast. If you need more — a larger household, or an EV to charge — you can add an Expansion unit to reach 27kWh, which we can quote from £13,950 as a Battery-Only package.
Yes. It provides automatic whole-home backup, switching over fast enough that in most cases you won't notice the grid has gone down, keeping your essentials powered from stored energy.
