How many solar panels do I need is usually the first practical question a homeowner asks, and it deserves a clear, honest answer rather than a sales pitch. The short version: most UK homes need somewhere between 8 and 16 panels, but the right number for your house depends on how much electricity you use, your roof space and your budget — not a one-size-fits-all rule. Start with your electricity consumption.
